So happy July everybody!  This is the month I’m supposed to have my baby!!  WHOO-HOO!!  Let’s hope that is the case.  For some reason I would feel so odd having an August baby after looking forward to July for such a long time, but we can’t really predict the future now can we?

For now I’m trying to stay out of the heat, spend lots of time cuddling McKenna and The Scottish, and rest as much as possible.  It’s the calm before the storm, although I’m SUPER excited about the storm.  🙂

For those of you that don’t know, I have lots of friends who are also fellow bloggers! We’ve set up a challenge for this month to post three times a week for all of July.  Don’t I already post 3 times a week?  Yep, but that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy some camaraderie and accountability too.  Plus, this month in addition to posting regularly I want to challenge myself to update FB and Twitter MUCH more frequently, like to the point of annoyance.  I feel like my social media is seriously lacking.

I also want to share my goals for the next year so that I can have you guys hold me accountable too!  I’ve been blogging since last August so after my self-imposed maternity leave I’ll be attempting to make a few updates to the blog.

Goals for DH Through End of 2014:

1. Revise website

2. Seek out more relationship interviews

3. Look into adding more guest posts from fellow bloggers

I know with such a life change happening soon I can’t be overly ambitious so I’m just going to focus on these three tasks for the end of the year.  Feel free to offer your insights or to check in with me in a few months and ask me how it’s going!

As a fun surprise for today, I have the very first Drama Happens Reader Survey for you guys to fill out!  It’s super easy, (a whole ten questions), and I’d love it if you could take the time to submit your answers. Thanks in advance!

Create your free online surveys with SurveyMonkey , the world’s leading questionnaire tool.

With that said, don’t forget to LIKE DH on Facebook if you haven’t already or follow us on Twitter!  And if you are in a unique relationship and would be willing to share your story, please contact Stephanie at dramahappens(at)gmail(dot)com.

Happy July everybody, this is gonna be an amazing month!  🙂

I tried voting in the poll, but when I selected my answers it didn’t fill in the bubble showing I selected something. Not sure if it’s just me or if everyone is having problems.

Ugh, that is so frustrating, I hate when it happens to me! I’m actually getting responses in so I’m not sure what the issue is. Maybe try opening the blog post in a different browser? I will see if The Scottish has any suggestions when he gets home!

I’ll be going to Scotland in November for a fun week-long trip! I know you’re busy with new house, new baby, and other fun stuff but would it be possible to have a mini-Scotland travel guide from either you or The Scottish (as a guest post, maybe while you recuperate from the new babe)? Or maybe both!

I could definitely write something about what to do/see in Scotland. The main issue is that we mostly stay near Glasgow with family, but on previous trips we have done more exploring. I will look into that after our trip and before your tip hopefully! Good idea! 🙂
