She’s pregnant!  YAY!!!

It’s finally Facebook official public that The Sister and The BIL are expecting their first child in January of 2015 so that means it’s time to spill the beans here as well!

Don’t they look cute holding The Wee One?  He’s only one day old in this picture!

The Wee One and his cousin will be about six months apart.  How fantastic is that?!?!  We won’t find out if they’re expecting a boy or girl for a few more weeks but the family is getting pumped to have another adorable little baby to cuddle.

And that means I will be an Auntie soon!  I’m soooo excited!  🙂

So far The Sister and I have had VERY different pregnancies.  She experienced the typical morning sickness and even lost weight in her first trimester whereas if you’ll recall, all I wanted to do was eat, eat, eat!  And she has just as many food aversions as I had cravings.  It goes to show you, just because you’re related doesn’t mean you’ll have similar experiences!

The Sister and The BIL finished their woodland themed nursery (perfect for both sexes!), and completed their registry all before turning 20 weeks!  We were still homeless when I was 20 weeks, haha.  The Mother and I are working on their baby shower as well, does anyone have a fun game idea to share from a shower they’ve attended?

Well that’s all for now.  The Wee One is being majorly fussy right now and keeping me away from my computer.  I can’t complain though, he did a great job this past weekend on his first trip up north (photos to come)!  Amazingly, he slept in 7.5 hour chunks two of the three nights.

Hope you’re all having a great week!

Congrats to Sis! How exciting that your son will have a playmate and cousin so close in age. Yay for sleeping through the night almost, that is huge!

Shower ideas…We did the bring a book instead of a card and write message to baby and parents in book. We also did a game where guests get a small tub of play-dough and “mom” leaves room and guests sculpt a “baby” then mom picks her favorite(don’t let “mom”see what colors guests have). “Baby” Price is Right. Get baby items and have guests guess the total, winner is whose closer. “Mom” then gets the items.

Best baby shower game — everyone got a onesie to decorate with fabric paint. Such cute ideas and all different, plus baby is outfitted with unique onesies for months!
