FRIENDS! I turned 31 on Saturday! Exciting right? 🙂
It was a fun and fast weekend and I’d love to tell you all about it, just not this moment. This moment I need to start packing because we leave for Scotland in what feels like two seconds.
In accepting the fact that I cannot get everything done at once, I’ve decided the priority right now is my sanity and getting my family ready to leave the country. There’s so much to do! Laundry, packing us, packing McKenna for G and G’s house, organizing the house, buying last minute items, making little baggies of ear plugs and gum for our fellow travelers, and more.
I plan on posting more this week but as a heads up, I will be taking time off once we’re in Scotland. The priority when we’re there is to spend time with The Scottish’s family. That said, I will take LOTS of pictures and that means LOTS of stories and recaps once I get back home! 🙂
In funny, unrelated news, I got to experience my first time pumping in a public restroom on my birthday. The goal was to be gone for at least 4 hours on my date night with The Scottish so I ended up pumping in the Nordstrom lounge at the MOA in between dinner and a roller coaster ride.
It made me contemplate how different my birthdays are now compared to my early twenties. My how life changes! My how such different things can make me so happy. I had a fantastic birthday and I wouldn’t want it any other way.
Have a great week! I should be back on Wednesday!
