Remember on Friday when I said I had news to share this week?  Well, we have a roommate!

My cousin (known as Jo here on DH) has moved into the “princess” room in our basement.  I guess we can’t call it that now as all the princess decals have been removed, but it’s still pink and purple.

Of course it will be a big adjustment for all of us but family helps each other out when they need it and we were happy to welcome her into our home.  Cousin Jo will be job hunting in the Twin Cities and sneaking in baby snuggles when possible.  🙂  Luckily we rarely use our basement so she has a good amount of space and privacy.  In fact, her room is bigger than ours!

It’s already been fun having her around and I’m excited for her to have a fresh start in Minnesota.  She graduated from college this year, and most of us can relate to that feeling of not knowing where we fit in the world or what we want to do with our lives.  Or at least those of with fine art degrees (*points at self*)!  I’m going to make her go shopping with me as well as many other fun holiday adventures.  🙂

Tomorrow I’m planning on making pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and fruit salad to bring for Thanksgiving dinner.  Is anyone else rushing around this week due to the holiday?  I feel like there’s so much to get done before we leave town on Thanksgiving Day to head to North Dakota to be with family.  Consequently, this will be my last real post for the week.

I have SO much I want to share with you guys regarding breastfeeding, nap schedules, and my first post-baby audition (gasp).  Spoiler Alert: it didn’t go so well.  The goal is to do some writing while sitting in the car; we’ll see if that happens!

I really hope everyone enjoys their meal with family or friends!!  It truly is a wonderful time of year.  And I for one, have a ton of things to be thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving Drama Happens Readers!

(ETD: Those of you in the UK and other parts of the world, I’m still sending you warm thoughts and hugs even though you might not be celebrating the holiday.)
