Hello lovely readers and Happy Thanksgiving to those folks in the USA!

Guys, I’ve become such a holiday junkie in my (relatively) “old” age.  I love it more and more each year!  I can’t get enough of holiday music and I usually start baking cookies as soon as Halloween is over.  I love family get togethers, holiday parties, and browsing the holiday section in every store I go into to.  The cold weather seems appropriate now and joy is in the air.

Speaking of joy, I’m so happy it’s Thanksgiving week!  This year I’m hosting a small group of my family and I’m really pumped about good food, family time, football, shopping, games, relaxing, and lots of laughter.

Of course it’s also been a bit busy this week, what with grocery shopping and the eventual cooking/baking that will not be made any easier with a toddler around.  The Wee One is sweeter than ever but he’s also becoming a handful.  Umm, throwing banana into my carpet??  Not cool buddy.  His newest thing is signing “more” for anything and everything he wants.  My cell phone? More.  I don’t like this food!  More.  I’m sick of this toy.  More.  I’m just standing in the living room and I don’t know what I want to say.  MORE.

His face looks blurry and weird in this photo but hey, it’s hard to catch him signing mid-action!

I’m also pumped about Black Friday shopping with The Mother, seeing some of my extended family, and decorating for Christmas!  We also really need to get started on baby boy #2’s nursery, yeesh!  Needless to say, I won’t be posting again until next week.  I hope you all get to spend time with your families and I hope you get to stuff your faces with amazing and delicious food while you remember what you’re thankful.  I know my list is overflowing this year, and I am SO grateful.

xoxo,

Stephanie

PS Here’s a Wee One pic of his second ever haircut.  We bribed him with raisins.  Adorbs.

Ha! My 17 month old son signs “please” for everything! Love following your blog because we have such a similar story. I also have a 4 month old boy (exhausting/amazing age gap). Hope your family has a great Thanksgiving!
