Pic heavy post for your viewing pleasure in 3,2,1…
The theme was rockets! The Mother made these adorable fruit kebabs in the shape of rockets and The Sister planned a bunch of awesome games for the kids to play. We tried to keep the party low-key, inviting mostly family and a few friends, and The Wee Two (and his big brother) had a wonderful time.
The Wee Two got to have his second attempt at a smash cake (his first time took place during his 12 month photo shoot). He got into it a little bit more and almost threw the entire thing off his tray. Of course I was recording at that point so I don’t have any photos of it but he did get into the “smashing” after a bit. It was super cute to watch.
I’m bummed because we didn’t get any pictures of the birthday boy with Grandma and Papa or with my sister’s family, and we didn’t even get a family pic of all of four of us because The Wee One was NOT in the mood (I know, big surprise). This is why I pay for quality, professional photos! But I’m making a mental note right now, to take posed pictures with family at each birthday party because it will be fun to look back at them as our kids grow up and those are usually the ones we’d end up framing.
We did snag this pic of The Wee Two with Uncle Glue and Auntie Tape! They are due in May with their first baby, and guess what, it’s a boy! Yay, we love our boys in the family!
And how cute are these cousins??
The Cuz Man looks a lot like his mama, and The Wee Two looks a lot like me so I can really see the resemblance between these two. What do you guys think?
Hope you all have a great week!
